Fiona's pages were about a piping family... one of the things you should know about me is that I can't sing or dance or play a musical instrument, and so I just hate ceilidhs and weddings, and being envious of those that can, doesn't help! Every time Colin McRae changes team his pages disappear, whether it's Subaru or Ford (currently Citroen). Other sites mention a notable MacRae, eg either Josh MacRae, in passing and may be as moving or informative as a site dedicated to the 'star'. So why give myself this agro when you can use GOOGLE or whatever fave search engine to do the job just as well, indeed better? If you know the answer to that... can you please let me know too?
Josh MacRae
There are two bearers of this name, Joshua is uncommon amongst MacRaes -- are they related or was Junior's Mum a fan of Senior? I, along with many others, first heard Senior with his Messing About on the River on Childrens' Family Favourites, but he was more a Glasgow Folk Singer associating with (supporting?) more famous such as Hamish Imlach or Matt McGinn:
Mamie Lang
Didn't find a satisfactory link out of the hundreds, if not thousands of mentions of the younger Josh, the drummer chosen by Queen's drummer Roger Taylor for his "solo" work -- seems he's also worked as engineer and producer for Queen, as well as drums on Bob Geldof's Sex, Age & Death album.
Colin McRae
It's not many people that get a Play Station game named after them, but Colin, World Rally driver, is one such.
His official site is Colin McRae. But there's cuff all on there and it's been saying under construction for so long, it clearly isn't! Could try the appallingly slow to load Driver Profile
